Safco Products Flat File for 42 W x 30 D Documents, 5-Drawer (Tropic Sand)

The Flat File is a classic office solution with a stylish design, quality construction, and quiet operation. This modular filing system can be used individually or stacked in a space-saving configuration. The 5-drawer steel cabinet features a powder coat finish and can accommodate documents up to 26" x 37" in size, with a capacity of 500 active, 750 semi-active, and 1000 inactive sheets.

The drawers, measuring 43"W x 32"D x 2 1/8"H (ID), are equipped with case-hardened ball-bearing nylon rollers, providing smooth and quiet operation. The drawer fronts feature label holders measuring 3 1/4"W x 1 7/8"H (OD), keeping your files organized. Positive closures ensure the drawers remain tightly shut, while courtesy stops keep them in place while open.

To maintain a clean and organized workspace, the Flat File includes a rear hood and a hinged front depressor, protecting the contents from dust and debris. For added flexibility, the Flat File can be stacked up to 5 units on the Safco Products Closed Low Base Model 4997TSR (sold separately) or up to 2 units on the Safco Products Open High Base Model 4977TS (also sold separately).

For security, an optional Lock Kit, including a lock and two keys (Model 4981, sold separately), can be purchased and installed on the Flat File.

The drawer dimensions and label holder dimensions remain the same as the previous model.
