The 5-drawer Flat File steel cabinet, with a powder coat finish, can accommodate documents up to 26" x 37", with a sheet capacity of 500 active, 750 semi-active, and 1,000 inactive files.

The drawer dimensions are 43"W x 32"D x 2 1/8"H (ID), with label holders on the drawer fronts measuring 3 1/4"W x 1 7/8"H (OD). The case-hardened ball-bearing nylon rollers ensure smooth and quiet operation, while the positive closures and courtesy stops keep the drawers tightly shut and in place when open. To keep the contents clean, the cabinet features a rear hood and a hinged front depressor.

The Flat File can be stacked up to 5 units on the Safco Products Closed Low Base Model 4997GRR (sold separately) or up to 2 units on the Safco Products Open High Base Model 4977GR (sold separately). Additionally, an optional Lock Kit, including a lock and two keys (Model 4981, sold separately), is available for added security.

The Flat File's Archival-Safe File Storage ensures your documents stay protected and well-preserved, with the rear hood shielding the documents and the hinged edge preventing curling.
